Miner: No Time to Wait on Water Regulations
October 03, 2018 11:28 AM

Syracuse, N.Y., October 3, 2018 - Stephanie Miner is troubled that the state’s Drinking Water Quality Council has not met its legal deadline for recommending limits on contaminants. The council was created to address a drinking water crisis in Rensselaer County.

“It’s unacceptable to wait on such an important safety issue. It’s also unacceptable to disregard legal obligations to residents who want to know their water is safe,” said Miner.

Miner proposes eliminating wasteful economic development programs and investing in infrastructure, including water systems.

Miner is running on the SAM (Serve America Movement) line.
